With aiming at the way, how to enter German market effectively and seeking for the potential German partners to explore China market, the government of Hamburg city, Hamburg Business Development Corporation and Skillnet Consulting (based on the conclusion of 1000+ success stories of investment in Germany) will organize a delegation visit to Hamburg, for the purpose of business matching with German TIMES companies. Extra! Free Speech Opportunity for Chinese IT/Media Companies at the symposium on 16.11.2006 in Hamburg.

The organisers of the delegation trip will give the Chinese IT/Media delegates a chance to share their experiences with 150 decision makers from selected German companies in the TIMES-industry. The topics are Not the introduction of their companies, Not the IT-Outsourcing, but introduction of his/her experience, how he or his company can help German companies in China, what is important for German IT companies to make business in HK/Mainland.......

Dress Casual Day is renamed as Dress Special Day - Dress special for a good cause

By donating HK$50 or more, participants can dress down, dress up, dress special, dress ‘color’….. to work on September 29 to enjoy a fun day while contributing for a good cause. If you have to wear uniform, you can also put on a “Dress Special Day” Sticker to show your support. All donations raised will be allocated to support "Family and Child Welfare Services".

To encourage greater participation, your organisation is most welcome to consider topping up or matching the funds raised by your staff. As a token of appreciation, an acknowledgement listing the names of participating organisations will appear in major newspapers on the event day.

Survey on the influence of Goods & Services Tax (GST) to the ICT industry

HKITF is carrying out a survey on the influence of GST to the ICT industry. The purpose is to obtain data from the industry to enable us to reflect actual opinions to the Government. We sincerely invite you to contribute 3 minutes to complete the questionnaire on or before 15 September 2006. In addition, we wish to ensure you that the information collected will be handled for research purpose only and will be published only in the form of statistical summaries without reference to individual establishments.
