Joint Reception with US mission delegates on 4 December 2006

The reception will mark the presence of a delegation of 22 leading-edge UK companies in Mobile & Wireless and a further group from the UK pavilion at ITU Telecom World. Profiles of the Mobile & Wireless delegation are attached. Key players in the ICT industry such as mobile operators, both local and overseas, WTIA's members, content providers, applications developers and government officials have all been invited to this reception.

UK mission delegates will have their products and literature on display throughout this reception. UK mission delegates are looking to develop long-term business in Hong Kong and the region. Thus, this will be an excellent opportunity to meet UK companies with innovative products and solutions and to network with mobile operators and solution providers in the region. Attendance is free of charge. Coaches will be available for transporting guests from the AsiaWorld-Expo where ITU Telecom World takes place to the British Consulate-General. Details will be available nearer the time.
